The company was established in July 2001 with a registered capital of 150 million RMB.
In October 2002, Grin lens was approved by the state planning commission as a demonstration project of national high-tech industrialization, and obtained 10 million yuan of project development funds.
In June 2003, the company passed ISO 9001:2000 quality management certification for the first time.
In July 2003, the company won the national patent certificate of utility model for micro photographic objective lens.
In October 2004, Grin lens products were successfully sold to overseas.
In April 2006, Grin lens products were tested regularly by SGS and certified.
It is also awarded the title of "Advanced Enterprise in Intellectual Property Work" in Xi 'an city's Hi-tech industrial development zone of China in June 2006;
In July 2006, the company's ISO 9001:2000 quality management certification was changed for the second time.
In January 2007, the company first passed ISO1400:2004 environmental management system certification;
Won the second prize of "national science and technology progress" in 2007;
Won the famous trademark of Shaanxi province in 2011;
Won the title of "High-tech Enterprise" in 2012;
In 2013, it was included in the national high-tech industry demonstration project.
In 2015, President of PRC Mr. Xi Jinping had a cordial talk with the general manager of Femto Technology (Xi’an) Co., Ltd. during his visit to Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics of CAS.
